Does MLB Network allow expletives .... :?:

Mark Gonzales of the Chicago Tribune wrote:

White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen will be part of a reality television show, but he will have to share camera time with bosses Jerry Reinsdorf and Ken Williams.

MLB Network announced Friday that the White Sox will be featured this season as part of "The Club" series that started last year with Philadelphia. The show promises to emphasize the on-and-off the field challenges of these officials.

MLB Productions will start following the White Sox this spring, with the first show scheduled to be broadcast on July 4.

The show promises to show behind-the-scenes discussions, such as roster cuts and trade deadline discussions, and will follow the Sox on the road as well as at home.

"The core of our baseball operations staff has been together now for many years,'' Williams said in a statement released by the MLB Network. ''The White Sox can be described pretty accurately as a family, even down to the unique relationships we all enjoy with one another. We understand the fans want a glimpse inside a baseball club's front office, want to see how decisions are made and want to watch as a spring training roster comes together to form a team. We hope 'The Club' provides that type of insight into the White Sox this summer and for baseball fans.''

Other Sox officials scheduled to be featured are assistant general manager Rick Hahn, affable pitching coach Don Cooper and hitting coach Greg Walker.

No word on whether any of Guillen's sons -- Ozzie Jr., Oney (who works in the Sox's front office) or Ozney -- will play a role in the series.

Oh brother...The censors will be working extra innings if Mt. Guillen spews out the expletives...

This is great news. I see the "affable pitching coach Don Cooper" will be part of the show. I hope they include Jeff Cox in the festivities as he can bring more stuff in 60 seconds than Affable Don has ever brought to his weekly Score segments.

Anybody else catch this last night? I thought it was great. Made me feel better about that blown save. Really enjoyed some of the behind the scenes stuff. That meeting with Santos letting him know he made the club was very powerful. Could do without the Williams' kid in the NFL draft, but other than that little bit of the program I loved it.

I liked it also. I always liked Ozzie and I like him more now. He really is a down to earth, no nonsense guy. How about that meeting in spring training when Kenny said he would cut anyone that is causing problems in the clubhouse? A little too much narrating and unnecessary camera shots, but good overall.

I've been pretty happy with AT&T Uverse and haven't missed not having the MLB Network.

Until now.

I have to find out when MLB is going to rerun the show because someone came to the door and I missed the part about the 'stat man'. I thought last weeks show was great, I love that draft stuff.
