So far Torres looks like he should come north, Denks' brother has to get way better.Quentin appears to be in the groove, but then again it was against the guy the Cubs got for Milton. I expect Carlos Silva to be throwing lettuce around at the Berwyn Fruit Mart |

Man is Silva a fat tub of crap. Lillibridge bunted down the 3rd base line and he didn't even attempt to move his fat ass off the mound. Have fun with that all year. Danks does have a few things to work on. His swing looks really long and he swung at some bad pitches. Torres looked good but I think my guy Sergio Santos is getting that last bullpen spot. |

Silva will be fine after the game I believe I saw him throwing a towel |

He was at the Bartolo Colon pitching camp. Very hard to find it. |

So far Tehan isn't hitting and made his 2nd error. I really worry about this guy! |

Mitchell is now out for one year with an ankle tendon that needs surgery. At least he didn't blow his thumb off like Carlos May. |

Losing Mitchell for the season is a devastating injury. Not only will it stunt his development it is one less trading chip for Kenny to acquire a big bat at the deadline. Why was he even playing with the big club? I thought he was reassigned to minor league camp earlier in the week? |

Correct me if i'm wrong, but Mitchell was considered the top prospect in the organization? Terrible. |

I still cannot figure out why, if KW was going to let Ozzie implement his system, they would trade a young, fast and cheap second baseman for Teahan. I did not like KWs off season one bit. |

I know it sounds so damned simplistic....but every once in awhile you just wonder if Williams gets some guys whose only positive is they have gone deep on the Sox in the Cell. Teahen's career numbers are Teahen's numbers. |

So far, neither Jayson Nix nor Brent Lillibridge have stood out in the battle for the 25th man position on this roster, according to the SCORE/Sun-Times' Joe Cowley. Ozzie has been disappointed in their lack of production the last 3 days or so. C.J. Retherford & Jordan Danks, two guys likely ticketed for Triple "A" Charlotte, seem to have impressed the White Sox manager more than Nix & Lillibridge to this point. |

Lillibridge is awful. BD, I agree with you. Jayson Nix doesn't have any minor league options for starters. They will also need a backup third baseman, and Nix might be best equipped, especially if Mark Teahen needs a breather or if he struggles out of the chute. Dayan Viciedo (remember him?) has been seeing a lot of time at first base this spring, and may be the heir apparent if Paul Konerko leaves. |

Sergio Santos' spring: 4 IP 3 H 0 ER 1 BB 5 K's My guy is making a strong play for the last spot in the bullpen. |

I only listen to what Ranger says! because this is Ozzies team. KW will tell you that all year, until he is asked it and then he will tough guy up and tell everyone it is his team and his responsibility, to show he is power! I do think Kenny has a problem with Ozzie getting all the attention. Not that KW wants to do interviews, but he wants people giving him credit more. This year does have dynamite potential. |

I don't think KW is angry at Ozzie for the attention with websites and other stuff. I think he sees it as Ozzie's hanger on sons causing trouble for the team with theri attention whoring. |

My guy threw another scoreless inning. Here are his spring numbers: 5.1 IP 3 H 0 ER 4 BB's 9 K's. Greg Aquino is also pitching well (0 ER in 7.1 IP) but he's 32, has been on 4 teams and has a career ERA of 5.31. I'd rather keep the 26 year old with a 95 MPH fastball even if he has only been a pitcher for 1 year. |

I'm pretty sure Santos is in, he has a good enough 97 mile heater that some team would grab him in Rule 5.... possibly the Sox could carry a DL "injured player" for awhile to juggle the 40 man. |

Santos will be on the final roster. They can't send him down without another team grabbing him, he throws 97 MPH, and he's actually earned the final roster spot. He's the 12th pitcher on the roster though with a starting rotation that is expected to carry the load most days so this is hardly a crucial decision for the White Sox. |

Agreed, this is sort of similar to the Cub carrying David Patton last year, although Patton had no business being there (as his track record would play out). Santos looks like a talent that might do something. |
