Sox fans who make the trip to the Twin Cities will love this new ballpark if the writer is to be believed. The best part may be that when a fan enters the main entrance he immediately sees the whole concourse and the field. The writer says it's a jaw dropping entrance. It has no roof only because the county would not pay for one. The writer thinks a roof would ruin the place. Nice article. Even a mention of Hitler just for fun. http://www.tcbmag.com/industriestrends/ ... 061p1.aspx |

I've never seen a game in Minnesota because indoor baseball sucks. I'm going the weekend of July 15-18. I'm hoping this becomes a yearly event. |

I'm glad the Twinkies are playing in a real stadium again. I loved old Metropolitan Stadium. Whenever I see the Metrodome I always think of the night Ditka came out on roller skates. ![]() |

I think that is a fairly accurate doppleganger for Jerry Jones. |

Frank Coztansa wrote: Wrong motherfucking Section. Now let's give Jimmy Reardon some credit here. Leaving his comfort zone was probably a really big step for him. I'm proud of the guy...at least he got the sport right and didn't post this in the Bears section or something. |

I always just presumed that Reardon was a mult. I always presumed you were a moron---and I was right. St. Paul, MN: The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have agreed to terms with catcher Joe Mauer on a eight-year, $184 million contract extension, covering the 2011-2018 seasons. The deal, which includes a full no-trade clause, will be made official at a 7:00 pm (ET) press conference in the Twins' Conference Center at the Lee County Sports Complex (Minor League building). |
