The worst part about baseball season is more elmhurst steve, and you venturing out the wrastlin' section.

Did your polish ex gf load up wrestling sections with threads as well?

If Thome gets an at bat tonight I'll give him a standing ovation.

This is the first I've seen of Donny Lucy. Looks weird with a #55 at bat....and a base hit...nice. :D

Anybody know who the guy in the yellow M&M jacket behind the plate in scout seat is? Looks like Bobby Hull from a distance.

Donny Lucy is a career minor-leaguer who's only on the 25-man roster because Ramon Castro has an injured right heel. As for the "catcher of the future", Tyler Flowers, he couldn't hit his way out of a paper bag in the Cactus League. That Javy Vazquez deal with the Braves last year isn't looking so hot right now...

Am I watching a replay from the 2009 season? This team can't get a gw hit if you put the ball on a tee for them.

How ironic that the best outing Tony Pena has had in a Sox uniform is likely to get him tagged with the loss. It's a funny game.

Scott Linebrink is a whore. Give any team, much less the Twins, 2 walks in an inning and you're gonna get burned.

Rios is swinging a hot bat. He's hitting ropes all over the place. Unfortunately, most of them are right at somebody.

They need to release Linestink today. He's got nothin. They could call up Greg Aquino or Erik Threets. Couldn't be any worse.

While I am by no means a sox, this doesn't apply to the national league so I figured it may apply to the sox. If you all are still hoping for more offense and more power keep an eye on Mike Napoli. He isn't hurt and he was a solid hitter last year and he has started only 1 of 5 games. The Angels favor a defensive catcher that can call a game over offense every time so thats why mathis is starting even though he hasn't shown he can hit much over .200 in the bigs with very limited power. They have a 3rd catcher who can hit and is solid defensively and they kept him so he wouldn't get claimed as he was out of options. I heard rumors of them moving Napoli if they move anyone and all indications are that he is available since he is not playing. He would be a good DH/backup catcher, but I don't know what he will cost.

I also didn't like Vizquel hitting 7th. When he's in the lineup Ozzie has to hit him 2nd and drop Beckham down to 6th. Vizquel is pretty worthless in the 7-hole but is a good 2nd hitter because of his ability to go the other way and lay down a bunt.
