Let's see....

The last couple of nights in Pittsburgh we see the former White Sox piece of shit Dotel shut down the Cubs for a couple of saves. Fucking joke, Part 1.

Tonight we the former Cub piece of shit Gregg shut down the Sox for a save. Fucking joke Part 2.

We got two major league teams in this city and both are complete crap.

And Pierre hasn't had an extra base hit in ever!

In ever, Jerry, in ever.

Yeah. I think apologist has a Pierre extra base hit-o-meter in his sig.

Yes he does... one of the best, but even more so because he has had it for a long time... at least a week by now.

What the hell else can Danks do last night but throw a perfecto? These hitters just flat out suck and it is embarrassing. I realize Eveland is a good pitcher, but so is Danks. I can't believe the Sox can't find good, solid, smart hitters that can consistently put the ball in play.

Rios has been a treat and although I like Pierre's hustle, hit the fucking ball into the outfield and preferrably not right to someone.

AJones, Rios and Paulie can't carry this sack o'shit team forever and the hitting coach really needs to be evaluated and fired if needed.

Buerhle and Peavy are up next and if they have quality starts but the offense doesn't do anything, Walker needs to be run out.

GBeck will be riding the pine for a few games and hopefully this helps him. Or maybe they'll just change him to OF.

How would Jim Thome look as DH now?

Oh, that's right, they simply couldn't find enough at-bats for Thome amongst the cornucopia of sluggers that was Juan Pierre, Mark Kotsay, and whoever the hell else I'm missing :x

I still believe Jermaine Dye will be re-signed out of desperation by mid-June or sooner.

This is probably a dumb comment (what else is new) but is CQ really worth keeping?

Package him, Gavin, Kotsay, Ramon Castro and trade for a pouch of Big League Chew.

This team would look better with Thome at DH and Jones in LF....400 OBP but with strikeouts 50% of the time.

It's too late. If he was signed today he wouldn't be ready until June 1 and the Sox are already 7 games behind the Twins.

I would not be even slightly shocked to see them down double digits after the Twins series next week.

The White Sox make their first trip to the new Target Field next week, but the Jays' Cy Eveland made Southside hitters look really, really bad, even with Paul Konerko sidelined with a stiff neck for 7 innings. Kevin Gregg got his second save vs. the Sox as well...Why did he remember "Fire Marshal Bill" from "In Living Color" when he closed for the Cubs?! :x

It's absolutely ludicrous, we are six weeks into the season and there is a big goose egg up there! Granted,we knew he had no power but this is ridiculous! Considering he has about the most AB on the team!!

It must be bad, because now my posts resemble Pasta!!

As expected, Gordon Beckham's not in tonight's starting lineup for the second of four between the White Sox & Blue Jays, but neither is Paul Konerko, out of the lineup again with a stiff neck. The washed-up Omar Vizquel, not Jayson Nix, covers the tabs for Beckham at second, while Mark Kotsay subs for Konerko at first base vs. the Jays' Shawn Marcum. The official lineup is forthcoming...

97 mph fastball, mid 80s slider with decent break, changeup which he has shown good command of. When he's on with the change, it's about the same speed as the slider but breaks the other way. Also has a low 90s 2 seam runner.

I've been touting this kid to some pals, I like his makeup out there. You never want the closer to go bad, but you may be seeing him in the 8th or 9th soon...

It's one thing that Gordon Beckham's not in tonight's lineup, but Omar Vizquel's even more painful at the plate...If the White Sox don't win this game in extras this eve, Ozzie NEEDS TO SHAKE UP THIS STALE LINEUP!!! Besides, why is Jayson Nix on this roster if Ozzie continues to play the washed-up Vizquel who is embarrassing Luis Aparicio wearing that #11 on that black Sox jersey?

I realize there is some drama when the closer comes in. High pressure, little or no margin of error, but seriously Jenks doesn't have it anymore. He comes in and a run is almost guaranteed.

Pretty soon, Bobby Jenks will be available. He, Paul Konerko, Anthony John Pierzynski & Mark Buehrle, who got a no-decision this eve, will be among the White Sox players that will be up for bid if the price is right and the Sox continue to sink like the Titanic...

I would be more inclined to trade/dump Jenks, CQ, or Linebrink.

I think I've seen enough White Sox baseball for awhile.

The fact that this team has so many holes and not one consistent piece shows how bad the state of the team and or-gan-i-zation really is.

So far Kenny Williams and "ozzieball" are complete failures.

At least the twins did not play, so they only fall back 1/2 game more.
