I don't care about this story. I think if the team was better on the field, this would be a non-story. The way this season has gone, it's hard for me to find interest in anything White Sox related unless it's trading players away. I'm ready for football.

"IF" story is true, time for Oz to move on. Reminds me of that movie, forgot name. With Samuel Jackson as a racist cop. Living next door to a black/white couple. And he just messes with them just for the hell of it. Maybe like Williams is doing to Oz. Because he can.

I agree Ozzie needs to go because of the family issue. It's obvious he, Kenny and Reinsdorf all let this crap get too incestuous

Ozzie's record is 539-495 in 7 years or just over 52%. That averages to 84-85 wins per season. KW record is pretty similar. Both are replaceable.

White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen and general manager Ken Williams "almost came to blows in a heated shouting match" on Tuesday, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. The root of the dispute was the drafting of Guillen's son, Ozney. Guillen believed the team let his son slip too far in the draft and was vocal about that. However, the newspaper noted that was just the latest incident in the ongoing drama between the manager and general manager during a disappointing season. And when speaking to the White Sox's website, Williams didn't deny that a rift has developed. "We are both very competitive men, strong-willed men," Williams told the team's website. "I believe in self-assessment, and I think you have to assess all parts of our operation from top to bottom to determine if it's, in fact, still a productive working relationship. "Whether or not the maintenance of that relationship is such that we still have the drive to get through some things and still have the drive to get through some differences ... I'm still in that assessment mode for myself, in particular. "That should not lead to the assumption that I mean that (Guillen) is the one (who may benefit from a change of scenery). If I determine that I am the one that is the cog in the machine, then I am the one who will stand in front of Jerry Reinsdorf and tell him so and step aside. ... I will not deny that I am growing weary of the soap opera." I think after all the bullshit with Twittergate and this recent crap stemming from his kid getting picked late, Ozzie needs to go. This team does need some shaking up and I think it should start with Oz.

I just find this amount of dysfunction pathetic and funny at the same time. I do however think the Guillen family crap would still be a story.

I side with no one. These two are very successful baseball men & what's happening right now between White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen & V.P./General Manager Kenny Williams is childish and embarrassing. It's reaching a point where the South side may not be big enough egos for one of them to stay.

Without knowing all the details. If it's true that "coming to blows" was about how low his kid was drafted I'm just shaking my head. * Is Williams just doing a favor by drafting Ozzie's kid? Come on like a 23rd rounder has a chance on making the bigs? Our #1's can't or get traded. * If this kid was so good was wasn't he picked higher by another team? Ozzie has a 72-90 campaign in there. I'm not saying Ozzie is perfect, but I think he's done the most with the talent thats been given to him by Kenny.
