Personally, I think he has a point when he says there should be interpreters for latin players. His point about Latin players having to go thru the minors and asian born players being exempt is kinda bogus. Most Asian born players are 25-30 years old when they land over here. The best Latin born players are scouted from their early teens, and generally come to the big leagues as soon as possible. Both Chicago teams have baseball "institutions" in S.America where they train and posture where these players will land. I see it both ways, but until we start being sent as many young asian players as there are latin players, Ozzie is just talking shit again. Also, once again, not worthy of the massive ESPN coverage it will get today and 2morrow. |

You did actually make me laugh tho FA. Oh and you could get your wish coming true soon about me dying. Ive been having bad things going on with my heart, pancreas, and liver. Last night my heart started tightening up, and I couldnt breathe right. This is 2 months after I had a stroke/seizure. Im only 27 years old btw, and I dont look anything like Chris Farley. Temporary truce til we piss each other off again? |

I think Ozzie is way off base regarding Spanish translators. The U.S. is well on its way to being a bi-lingual country and neither of those languages is Japanese or Korean. Shit, Spanish might be the first language in most clubhouses. |

Last night it was English. Whats the deal? |

I've been close to being what I'd call fluent in Spanish during a couple different stretches where I was working with a lot of Spanish speakers. Right now, my Spanish is lousy, but when I listen to the Guillens I'm pretty sure they don't really speak Spanish that well. Maybe someone who is really a native speaker (Free Ajent, Mr. Hernandez?) can comment. It seems to me the Guillens kids are the kind of guys who understand everything because their parents spoke it all the time, but who don't really know certain words or proper sentence structure. Also, I know there are different colloquialisms that the Mexicans I learned a lot from use that other Spanish speakers may not. |

Idk man. ER doctors ran a bunch of tests but couldnt decide what was going on. Local physicians said the heart palpitations, chest pain, and lightheaded feeling were prolly anxiety induced. They couldnt/didnt want to explain why my glucose was up around 170, or why my pancreas/liver was swollen. Also had nasty heart burn for a week which would was an all day thing. My glucose dropped back to normal, so it wasnt diabetes. Tho Im prolly borderline. I dont have health insurance, and in both cases I had to lie about smoking weed. As soon as each doc treating me saw marijuana in my blood stream they totally got all offended I lied to them, and their patience for treating me seemed to dwindle. Needless to say I havent been back to the doctor since early June. It's a day by day thing. Just gotta keep the anxiety to a minimum. Too bad it's dry as a bone around here, and my last dealer fucked me over after I took a charge for him. |

You shouldn't have lied, was it because of work? I would tell them everything, more they know they more they can help. I think i got diabetes but not for sure yet. |

You should go to Walgreen's or a CVS or something and get a Glucose tester/meter. Take your blood 2 hours before you eat and 2 hours after for like a week or so. If it clocks in over 125 consistently, then go to a Doc. That's one way to find out. Stabbing your finger tip with that damn needle takes some getting used to tho. |
