Watched, or listened, to most of this Sox game as I did some work and the remote was nowhere in site, but just didnt hear Stone for most of the game. A few times I heard him start talking and Hawk walked all over him.

Hawk did let him talk about how they will bean someone later on in the game, but besides that the "don't stop now boys " were rolling out one after the next

Bob, I think the only person more concerned than you about that line is Tommy Boy. You should show up and taunt them with your cape.

What I hate is the "Cub Myth".

The latest example is the radio spot with the gender challenged male blathering on about the Bleachers and throwing opponents' home run balls back on the field, White "W" Flags and singing "Go Cubs Go"!!!

"It's a Way of Life"!!!!!!!

Real Cub Fans with an ounce of sense know when they are being played for fools....by the Cubs!!!!

Yeah, I'm sure that's what you say to convince yourself and anyone else that will listen that you're not a Cub hating assbag. Sorry, every professional sports team in the world runs ads and creates stupid myths about their teams. Fenway mystique, Packer Nation, etc, all examples of meatball advertising. It sells tickets. Period. So own your hate. You've got a team in a penant race. You won a world series 5 years ago. It's pathetic that you can't enjoy it without taking shots at the Cubs.

Difference between you and me, Johnny, is I know if the Cubs ever got to the World Series it would be an economic boon for the City. Maybe equal to a Super Bowl.
And I would be inside Wrigley Field for the games!!!!!
You don't own the Cubs, get over yourself and your defense of all things Cubbie.
