While 2010 is still in play and having no knowledge of the contract/money situation for next year, I say: bring the man back! Unless the hand injury reappears, he'd still be a 30 - 35 HR guy while averaging at least the century mark in RBIs, no? |

I think his production will slip to the high 20's in HR. It's remarkable because after all this time, this is his career year, and it will probably price him out of the Sox price range. I really can't see how he could take a pay cut after a possible .300 40 HR, 100RBI season. Still I have no doubt next year he will be back down to .270 25 85. |

He really would fit the Cubs well...aging veteran coming off a career year looking for a big contract |
