Real good pitcher, not yet great. He had a chance to cement the big game pitcher status by shutting down the GLORIOUS ones tonight Took the mound knowing Minnesota had won. It was a must win. I thought he would come up big He did not. |

It's especially aggravating on a night when Sabathia is not pitching well either. |

The bullpen didn't do the team any favors either. You score 9 runs, you'd better win. |

There is a lot of pressure on Danks and Floyd to step up right now. With Peavy gone and Buehrle not really a great 2nd half guy, those young guys have a lot of weight to carry. Jackson has helped and done a good job since coming over. But with the Twins having increased the lead to 4 games prior to his start, Danks had a lot of pressure to get the Sox a win. Now the lead is 4 1/2 and it's not gonna get any easier. I think thats why teams like Cleveland are dangerous at times like this....pretty decent team/no pressure. |

They aren't beating the teams they should. They're 4-8 against Cleveland this year for Chrissakes. |

Yes, the Sox have been bad against Cleveland. The Indians are in no way shape or form a "decent" team. Just because they beat the Sox doesn't make them good. |

I wouldn't hesitate to call Cleveland a pretty decent team on the radio. It's not like I'm saying they are Chamionship timber, a contender, or a good team. Winning 40% of their games and having a decent divisional record, makes them a team that shouldn't be taken for granted. Plus, they have ZERO pressure on them. That said, Carmona won't pitch in the series, so that works in the Sox favor. But I certainly don't expect a Sox sweep. Hell, they have lost 7 of their last 8 series, including series' to the Royals and Tigers. No reason to believe they can't drop another series to a divisional opponant. |

Are the Cubs a decent team? Because they only have 1 loss fewer than the Indians. How about the Astros, are they decent? No. They're all bottom feeders. They all suck. Carry on. |

So if the Sox lose this series to the Indians, they must be pathetic losers just like you. They have already lost 8 of 12 to these guys and can ill afford to drop more games to "bottom feeders" like Cleveland, right? |
