Why don't you just answer your own question?

It was typical Guillen nonsense. He really wanted to waste an out with a bunt but his personal protocols don't allow him to request that a five hole hitter do so. So he did the next best thing and ran Lillibridge into an out. Guillen just loves outs! He's got a team well-schooled in making them on purpose.

I had no problem with him running for Konerko, but I would not have had him steal.

I agree. You had to run for Konerko. But all that fucking around on the bases is disrespectful to a team that has been hitting the hell out of the ball for a while now. I'm pretty sure the Sox are up to about seventh in baseball in runs scored after a terrible start. They'd be scoring even more if they weren't always "trying to make something happen" and just let middle of the order guys have a chance to drive in the runs.

I saw yesterday that the Sox lead in the AL in batting avg with runners in scoring position.

And of course after Lillibirdge was thrown out, Jones rips a single. Little bit different situation there in the 8th with 2 on and nobody out.
