This is the last year of Alexei's 4yr/$4.75M contract (great signing, Kenny!) but the Sox own his rights for 6 years so that means Alexei will be arbitration eligible in '12 and '13. I agree Kenny needs to buy out his two arbitration years and a free agent year or two but the only way Alexei will be a Yankee is if Kenny trades him there and I don't see that happening.
