When the Yankees.......DEREK JETER...start getting old...it is time for other teams to identify and extend the young players they want around.....
KENNY WILLIAMS.....before you start pushing your shopping cart through the alley looking for Stiffs and Castoffs this Winter, you might think about giving Alexei Ramirez a 5 year extension.....Have fellow Cuban Minnie Minoso explain what a HOME TOWN DISCOUNT is to Alexei in Spanish!!!!! :lol:

This is the last year of Alexei's 4yr/$4.75M contract (great signing, Kenny!) but the Sox own his rights for 6 years so that means Alexei will be arbitration eligible in '12 and '13. I agree Kenny needs to buy out his two arbitration years and a free agent year or two but the only way Alexei will be a Yankee is if Kenny trades him there and I don't see that happening.
