With the news on Linbrink and his $5.5 million salary gone, where are the Sox financially at this point. Assuming they can get PK back doe they have any payrlol wiggle room to get another arm for the pen? Is # 56 on his way out of town to get rid or more salary? People have suggested getting rid of Quentin, however I say they keep him. He is relatively cheap and will have less pressure on him with Dunn in the lineup. Bat CQ seventh and you could have a gy hitting that low in the order with 30 home runs. |

It would be funny if they gave the cash to Linebrink to bring with him. Then he could be like Dave Wilder and just pocket half of the cash. |

I read the sox are on the hook for $3.5 of Linebrink's $5.5 in 2011. Seems excessive. |
