In other news, Tampa is 0-6 to start the year...that's not good. They also haven't had a lead all year. Eva Longoria isn't playing...out with an oblique. Pitching Matchups: Today: David Price vs Edwin Jackson Tomorrow: James Shields vs John Danks Saturday: Wade Davis vs Phil Humber Sunday: Jeff Niemann vs Gavin Floyd Figure on the same lineup as yesterday with the left on the mound, then get ready for a whole lot of Tea(hen)bagging unless Dunn can go at some point this weekend. I say Sox win 3 of 4 |

Price won 19 games with an ERA under 3 last year, so Jackson better be on his game. The pitching as a whole (except for Danks) needs to be worlds better. Tampa has been awful so far but they are due to start hitting. I think Sox win 2 but play much better baseball than they did in KC. Pierre should be in LF with Milledge the DH. Probably will get a Vizquel sighting this series as well. |

I'll be happy with a split. Realistically, I think that Tampa rotation is too damn good for them to start 1-9. We need Jackson to go deep today to take some pressure off the pen. |

Jackson needs to get his control back...it was lacking a bit Saturday. Need a deep outing from Danks too...I don't trust Humber. |

I would to congratulate the White Sox on the new "Bacardi in the Park" that I saw on the morning news. Yet another innovative stadium idea: build a new bar inside the park that has outside access as well - and while you're at it - name it after a popular rum drink! Bricks, Ivy, rum bar. Got it. |

I gave hearty congrats to the Cub for putting that restaurant in center field a few years back. Certainly they didn't get the idea for fine dining inside the park from any other ballpark in town... |

Nice win. Another good start from Jackson and big hits from Rios, Pauly and Pierre. Not only have the Twins stumbled out the gate they lost Nishioka for at least a month due to a broken leg. |
