Monday: Braden v. Buehrle
Tuesday: Cahill v. Jackson
Wednesday: Anderson v. Danks

Sox win Tues and Weds. Buerhle career against Oakland is 4-13, but only a 3.90 ERA.

Anderson can pitch.

Oakland's pitching is pretty good, but their offense leaves a lot to be desired. They have a handful of other teams' prospects, who had starry eyed GM's that didn't trust them, and bullied them out of town, such as Josh Willingham, Conor Jackson, and Ryan Sweeney.

In all seriousness, with the quality of pitching on both sides, Sox could sweep and score no more than 6-8 runs.

Cahill and Anderson are both legit. I saw them both pitch when there were at AA Midland and they were both dealing. Cahill looked incredibly unathletic, but damn could he pitch.

I'm going tonight. My attendance record is 1-0 so of course the Sox will win.

Two guys with a perfect game going against each other tonight. Lots of pitching being run out there by both teams. Should be a good series.

A's can chuck it for sure. I can see the "FIRE GREG WALKER" calls starting if they drop the first 2 games of this series.

Tonight's pitching matchup should be very interesting...Dallas Braden & Mark Buehrle both threw perfect games each of the last 2 seasons. I don't think either has done too good ever since.

Didn't the Diamond Dallas Page looking Dallas Braden want to fight A-Roid after some incident last year too?

So Ozzie starts Konerko on a hit and run...a groundball would still be a double play.

Games like this are where all those runners foolishly wasted on the bases kill you. You're extending the life of a pitcher you can't really hit as well as killing chances to score. Isn't there someone in the organization who can convince Guillen that this is a losing strategy?

Well, Bacon has given them 5 outs this inning. Hopefully Buerhle can pitch over that.

And hopefully the bullpen can protect a 1 or 2 run lead.

He's hitting .200. Why on earth did you pick him??

Maybe that's what I should have done. Avoid the good hitters and pick the guys who are due.

Lifetime .336 or something against Buehrle in like 25 at bats. And even though he has the no no and perfecto, he generally does give up hits.

Buehrle cruised through 8 innings and only threw 99 pitches. I don't care if you have Mariano down there you let him finish the game.
