To play in a fucking dome in Florida 11 game road trip starting today, 30 of the next 43 are away from The Cell Tonight: Edwin Jackson vs David Price Tuesday: John Danks vs James Shields Wednesday: Phil Humber vs Wade Davis Thursday: Gavin Floyd vs Jeff Niemann Hopefully we get the team that showed up opening weekend against Tampa, and not the horse abortion that's been out there since then. |

Does Hawk still get to claim the weather is Cubs-biased when they knock out almost half their road games by Memorial Day? |

Hey Boyd (or whoever starts these series threads), it might be a minor thing and I know we all get lazy. Would it kill ya to put the stats and handed-ness of the pitching probables? I used to love reading the probables in the sports page as a kid, and I know there's some other OCD- nerdy baseball fans out there who likes to see the numbers. Here i took the liberty of doing these if you want to edit the original post. Code: Mon 4/18
Edwin Jackson (R) 2-0, 2.89 ERA David Price (L) 1-2, 3.92 ERA Tuesday 19 John Danks (L) 0-1, 3.15 ERA James Shields (R) 0-1, 3.98 ERA Wednesday 20: Phil Humber (R) 1-1, 3.46 ERA Wade Davis (R) 1-2, 3.26 ERA Thursday 21: Gavin Floyd (R) 1-1, 4.29 ERA Jeff Niemann (R) 0-2, 6.32 ERA |

Why the 'tude man? Is it really that hard? They seem to have no problems with it over in the Cub threads. We should be better than that. |

Ozzie will get ejected by Wendlestadt at some point this series. Those 2 always end up in a shouting match. |

How many losses in a row will it take for Ozzie to be fearful for his job? I'm betting after this road trip, the rumors will begin. |

Really? Pull your head out of you ass. Haren and Price were just awesome the last 2 games. Not much you can do except tip your cap and move on. |

Good to see Thornton is still Thornton. Ever since Sale "threw at him" all Lopez has done is hit doubles and HRs against the Sox. |

And to top of the evening of White Sox bad, Peavy left his rehab start after 15 pitches. |

Tip your cap = We sucked and couldn't hit shit. The Sox say that a lot along with Don't panic....it's early. Weaver was great too, as was the pitchers on the A's were, and the pitchers on the Yankees will be great too. |

And you'll find something to bitch about no matter what they do. You seem to be just a goddam miserable motherfucker. Fact is, it IS too early to say much of anything about any baseball team. But, you get worked up about whatever you want. Its a free country after all. |

No Frank, I just expect more from a team that has won a WS in the last ten years in the third largest market. Do I expect perfection? Nope, that is impossible. Do I expect them to play much, much better than they do every April-May in the last 3 years? You better fucking believe it. If this was the Royals, I would expect this because no one gives a fuck about them and it shows. The Sox have talent, but it just does not come through from the start and it is not consistent enough as it should be. Every year the hitting is "hit or miss" and the pitching takes a long time to get worked out. |

He gets mad at everyone for any anti Sox comments. Even fellow Sox fans. Tomorrow night he will tell us Big Game Jim Shields just had a great night. My concern is the lack of offense. Losing is one thing, but doing nothing is these losses isn't a great sign. I am all for moving up Alexis and moving Mr .229 down. He might need another appt with the team psych. You miserable son of a bitch. |

Please no; I can't do another year of Ozzie being a big dumb carelord and threatening to retire because his fiery passion is either too much, not enough, or both for Kenny Williams, and then the statement from Kenny, and then the statement from Reinsdorf, oh and Mark Buehrle wants to retire too while you're in the neighborhood and asking around, and EVERY YEAR WITH YOU FUCKING GUYS Nancy Faust is the only White Sock to make good on a perennial retirement threat, and she was the one that wasn't a total jerkass! |

Only a matter of time before Oney starts chiming in on why this team is not playing well. |

Need to stop the skid very very soon, but can't discount the pitchers that have been chucking it against the Pale Hose. |
