JORR......I remember 1968....this is worse...but I am laughing at it....this is self made.
I have been screaming for years here that Kenny Williams' WIN NOW plan is crazy and not sustainable....
Something like this was inevitable.

Why don't you call in to Rongey and say that? Then everyone on WSCR and many of our posters right here can act as if you're insane and poor Chris has a tough job.

Not that I celebrate the Sox losing...but it is nice not having to deal with the select moronic fans talking shit 24/7 about my team.

Rongey can be a little arrogant.

He scoffed at me when I said Kenny Williams was an average GM and dared to suggest he is NOT a top 5 GM.

He also dismissed my thought prior to last season that Chris Young might be better than Alex Rios.

Im sure if a sox fan called in with these two points before last season they would be deemed Crazy.

Probably, but in my personal experience it isn't the Cubs fans that usually start the pissing contest. We know we're terrible this year, we know we've been terrible for a couple years, we know we shit the brick in a lot of huge situations, and we know we haven't won a championship in a long time. Sox fans don't need to let us know of this. My day isn't made when the Sox lose.

Check a facebook page, and you'll see numerous people with status updates closely resembling the following:

"SOX WON, FLUBS LOST, PERFECT DAY LOLOL"

YES....and Rongey is in a tough spot, obviously......I posted last season that they should stop taking post game phone calls from idiots and drunks. Give a game recap, the scores, and it seems that Don Cooper is on the WSCR pad, so throw him on for some boring analysis.

I've seen guys pitch better in games they have lost. Liriano had some decent stuff last night, but it was not a beautifully pitched game. The Sox offense is just absolutely pitiful.

Don Fuckin' Gutteridge managing. Bobby Knoop, Duane Josephson. This isn't that bad. Bob. But you're right in that in some ways it's worse. I don't think anyone could have expected this. Especially if you had said Quentin would hit like he has and Konerko would pick up right where he left off last year.

I had a bitchy cousin try and and goad me into a Cubs/Sox argument on Easter...she had her demonspawn kid working on it too. It's best to just brush that crap off.

I think he has a sweet gig. He gets to watch a lot of baseball for free- as bad as it may be at times- and he takes calls from fans. What's so fuckin' tough? The B&b crew on the Score have attempted to paint Sox fans as lunatics using the callers that are allowed to get through to Rongey as an example. A lot of guys on this board have bought into that. Frankly, I find it insulting. When my slugger-filled batting order gets no-hit by a guy who was one bad outing away from losing his job in the rotation, what do you think I want to discuss? The only guy that sounds crazy on White Sox postgame is the Cardinal fan with his happy talk.

After all, it was far from a perfect game pitched by Francisco Liriano. The Twins' lefty had 6 walks, and the White Sox got nothing to show for the free passes Liriano hurled.
