Sox at Skydome is usually a scary prospect. Do they have something similar to Memorial Day in Canada? Pitching matchups coming when I get my hands on them. |

The trip to Toronto is usually a killer for the Sox but hopefully it will be a little easier without Doc or Marcum there. Have to at least split. |

I think they at least split this one if the pitching stays as good as it has been |

The name of the place is now known as Rogers Centre. (Rogers is to Canada what Comcast/Xfinity is to the U.S. as far as cable and communications are concerned.) Whatever it's called, Toronto ranks right up there with Minneapolis, St. Petersburg, FL, the Bronx and Oakland as opposing cities the White Sox have struggled in recently, and if what happened in Arlington, TX is any indication, it could be another lost weekend for the Southsiders. |

Oh, I know it's now "called" the Rogers Centre. I just refuse to call it that. Sort of like we still have the Rosemont Horizon and the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. |

There are people in the world that refuse to call certain ballparks and stadiums by their correct name, especially when you consider the fact every mention of certain companies is a cheap plug for that company. |

In reality, Ohio-based Progressive insurance may have bought the naming rights for the Indians' ballpark that most used to call Jacobs Field or "The Jake", but I call it (Not So) in part because the team itself hasn't been all that Progressive in recent years. |

The lineup is in for the first of 4 with the Blue Jays at Rogers Centre. These are the guys dealing with Jays' righty Brandon Morrow: 1 Juan "1 Hit" Pierre LF 10 Alexei "Hit & Run" Ramirez SS 20 Carlos "Enjoy Him Now" Quentin RF 14 Paul "The Only RBI Yesterday" Konerko 1B 32 Adam "Another Strikeout!" Dunn DH 51 Alex "Flirting Again w/.200 BA" Rios CF 12 A.J. "Got a Walk" Pierzynski C 11 Omar "Brent Who?" Vizquel 3B 15 Gordon "2 More Hits" Beckham 2B Phil "I'm Not Going to the Bullpen" Humber toes the rubber for the White Sox in the first of 4 going right into the Memorial Day Weekend. |

This would be a real nice time for Dunn's first hit against a left hander. |

Thanks Corey. Dumbass. Another great job by Humber. It's too bad he's probably going to end up in the bullpen but there are worse things in the world. |

Sox caught a huge break. Pierre whiffed at a slider in the dirt and umpire called foul tip. Stone: "Pierre probably got just a seam of it." *Replay* Silence for the rest of the at bat until Pierre beats out infield single. Then Hawk mumbles out his "SOX LEAD TREE ONE YESSSSS" This broadcast is so awkward/bad funny sometimes; I love it. |

Wow, I haven't seen Patterson for a couple years. Looking at him now, there is no doubt in my mind he was on the juice when he played for the Cub. The only thing that looks the same is his facial features. However, his coconut is noticeably smaller. |
