Sox vs Sawx, that means Tessie, annoying accents, Fatass Jenks, and Fenway Pahk

Boston is red hot coming into this series, which pretty much means the Sox are fucked. Oh well.

Today: Jake Peavy (1-0, 3.00 ERA) vs Jon Lester (7-1, 3.36 ERA)
Tuesday: Phil Humber (3-3, 2.85 ERA) vs Alfredo "Byrd Killer" Aceves (2-0, 2.22 ERA)
Wednesday: Gavin Floyd* (5-5, 3.69 ERA) vs Tim Wakefield (2-1, 4.14 ERA)

Might not be as bad as folks think. Sox usually hit Wakefield pretty well, Lester will be a problem and Aceves is unproven. Its their pitching keeping Boston's red hot lineup at bay that will be the issue. Fun times sure to ensue.

That was a HUGE strikeout. Jake may not think so but 3 runs in 6 innings with the way that team is swinging the bats is pretty damn good. It sure would be nice if they can tack a few more on.

He should be happier with 3 runs in 7 innings. I can't believe Ozzie ran him out but I seem to say that every game. I guess I have to realize Ozzie is going to ride his starters as far as they will take him.

Good win.
Apparently it is a good thing to bench Adam Dunn.

Every player in the Adam Dunn-less lineup had at least 1 hit in last night's 7-3 White Sox winner over the Red Sox. The lineup doesn't come out for at least 2 hours or so, but I'll be interested to see where we'll find the "Strikeout Machine" vs. no-name righty Alfredo Aceves, not to mention knuckleballer and someone we've all heard of, Tim Wakefield, in the matinee tomorrow.

Good win last night, they are finally able to jump over a pitcher having a rough night. Hopefully Humber keeps doing what he has been doing tonight.

I stand corrected...Alex Rios is now hitting a robust .206 this season following his 1-for-5 night.
