Is anyone going to the Frank Thomas book signing in Naperville tonight? Frank doesn't seem to make too many appearances in Chicago and the book sounds like something I'd be interested in. On the other hand, it's in Naperville and I don't want racist Ugie to meet me at the border with a noose.

The thing that strikes me as most inconsistent about Frank and steroids is that he played SEC football in the late 80s. I'd be shocked if someone wasn't on steroids in that era. So we are to believe that Frank was involved in 2 sports at some of the highest levels available, both had rampant steriod problems, that steroids probably would have helped his play without being specifically banned by the sports but he chose not to take them. That would be a young man of incredibly high intergrity.
