I mean, he's having a pretty nice season as it looks like he could do .250/35/100ish.... but he's an outfielder. and he hasn't been as huge for this team as has paul konerko. I'm totally lost on this one... can anyone help me out here? |

If that's the case, and he was a manager pick, as opposed to one of the million other ways one makes the all star team, then all I can come up with is, Ron Washington is back on the blow. |

My only question would be how many first basemen normally make the team? Gonzalez is starting and I'm assuming Cabrera is a reserve. Do they take 3? |

The DH is part of it this year. That was announced last season. It was a part of the American League ballot. |

I'm shocked. Shocked! The one good thing about the "Crosstown Classic" is that I've been able to watch Sox games without listening to Hawk. |

konerko should be in..but who cares really...10 year old kids make those decisions .. every year guys like cal ripken jr or derek jeter make it in though undeserving. take fans out of th vote..too many dumb fans casting votes |
