Tigers are in town. Sox are coming off a 5-3 road trip. This division still blows. A sweep would put the Sox 1 game over .500. I have a feeling that they take 2 of 3. I really wish someone other than Peavy was facing Verlander on Tuesday Night...especially after the way the Sox knocked Verlander around in Detroit. Pitching Matchups: Mark Buehrle (7-5) vs. Duane "Second Coming of Denny McLain" Below (0-0) today at 7:10 p.m.; Jake Peavy (4-4) vs. Justin Verlander (13-5) Tuesday at 7:10 p.m.; John Danks (3-8) vs. Max Scherzer (11-5) Wednesday at 1:10 p.m. |

While I feel good that Mark Buehrle's starting the most important week of White Sox baseball of the entire season tonight, I don't have a good feeling about tonight's no-name opponent Duane Below (pronounced Bel-low). Usually, when the Sox face pitchers they've never faced before, that's usually a bad omen. It'll be a few hours before the lineup is revealed, but I've got to think Ozzie stacks the lineup with right-handed hitters. I think chances are better than even money that Brent Lillibridge plays right field, Brent Morel at third base & Gordon Beckham returns to second base after yesterday's breather to accommodate "Old Man" Omar Vizquel in the finale of the rain-shortened weekend series in Cleveland. Could Tyler Flowers get the nod behind the plate in only his second career start? We'll find out soon enough... |

Another 2 of 3 would be nice. Although I fear they lose tonight against no-name and tomorrow against Verlander. |

Brent Morel (R) 3B Interesting lineup for tonight's first of 3 with the Tigers. Brent Morel's days on the active roster might be numbered, even though Mark Teahen can't hit a lick vs. righties. When will Ozzie come clean and admit third base is now a platoon? |

They may not be hitting all season, but at least Beckham and Rios are helping this team with their bats. Their is no way they can be considered busts because of that. |

What the fuck is wrong with Rios? Doesn't he know the centerfielder is the boss out there? He let one drop and then he almost killed Pierre. |
