Ranger giving me the Mid April 6-18 stretch, if not for that! The Sox are in First place.

Can I also say if they dont win 20 of 23 , or whatever it was last year, they are a 69 win team?

If not for trading for Peavy, claiming Alex Rios off waivers and signing Adam Dunn-the payroll would be pretty reasonable for a .500 team.

You can just say that you think its the black guys fault. We all know you are a racist already, its not like you haven't admitted it or anything. In fact I think you said you take pride in being one. Obviously, anyone that thinks like that has the intelligence and world view of a fifth grader.

Why do Cubs fans seem to always care more about the White Sox. You know you are just jealous that we do not have a fanboy for an owner. Shit, the entire Sox organization makes the Cubs look like child play and thats really saying something.

That April did kill them. They probably would be in first. The Sox went 7-4 and than shut down for a month. They have been a plus 500 team since May. They also still have a shot in this terrible division.

How about this one for Ranger to put out to his audience. If the Sox were just .500 at home they'd be 3 games in first place. That's a better one than the one he gives.

I haven't listened to a Ranger post game in 3 years. It's depressing and pointless. I know Ranger blames the callers but based on the B&B clips, he's depressing as well.

Ranger is fine with me for the most part. I often disagree, but he seems like a good guy. He has replied to quite a few texts and tweets.

He also has to maintain relationships with the players. He seems them all the team and his job is dependent on them being willing to talk with him and do shows. They are not going to do that if he rips on them all the time.

It seems like his biggest reason for the Sox being so up and down is because Dunn has been non existence and Rios terrible until this last week (he has actually been very good). Bad home record, piss poor April, poor play... they are all reasons and explanations. He does get lots of terrible callers though.

If the season was started on August 1st the Cubs would be title contenders

If Rongey ever posts here again Id like acknowledgment that he backed the wrong horse in the Rios vs. Young battle with me.

Is Ranger going Bernstein on us with some numbers analysis?
Numbers don't lie...they just don't always tell the truth.
Chris has watched this team play all season and basically PLAY LIKE SHIT...
A CLUELESS FUCKING TEAM THAT FOR 4 MONTHS COULDN'T SCORE A FUCKHEAD ON 3RD BASE WITH NO OUTS....
Hossa the Slav is correct...
THE SHIT WHITE SOX CAN WIN THIS SHIT DIVISION.

How about I match you with a little gem I just heard from Schuster. "At least Soriano has been consistent in hitting 20 home runs every year of his contract." Enjoy that shit sandwich as a midnight snack from those that cover YOUR team.

The truth is that there is not but for. The Sox had there bad stretch, they had there good stretch and now, for the better part of the summer they have hovered between 4 under and .500.

These games against the Orioles all could have been losses. We just ran into an even worse dead ass team.

Ho Hum about this pennant race. Sure it'll keep me minimally interested as it is a pennant race but I know the Sox are not good.

Dunn is far and away the worst player I have ever seen in a Sox uniform for any extended period of time...the absolute worst.
Dunn's season this year is one of the worst I have EVER seen from a Major League Player with any kind of expectations at all.
Kenny Williams and his madcap Win Now madness must go.

This White Sox Fan-Cub Fan bantering back and forth, and I am as guilty of it here as Frank and BigFan, is comparable to two cellies in the Cook County jail arguing over who has the tastier bag of Flamin' Hot Cheetos.

I do not think it's too little too late...the Sox suck and the Division sucks....
I don't see how sending Adam the Oaf Dunn to the plate for any reason other than to take a pitch to the head for a career ending concussion is helpful for this "exciting" stretch run.
