He doesn't hate the north side, he doesn't even hate the Cubs. He says shit like that because he knows idiot Cubs fans and Sox fans will eat it up. He has always been an entertainer. Bridgeport is becoming a great neighborhood, but why would he live on the south side when he can afford to live in a nicer home in a nicer area.

That house in the article looks like they combined 20 townhomes on a single 25 x125 lot in the city and they obviousely knew the alderman or the Daley's well enough to have zero setbacks.

Not saying it is his new house, but it might look just like it. And we all know how Ozzie hates the Northside, but he has no problem living here I guess. Someone (yes a Sox fan) actually started arguing with me that Bucktown is really not the Northside, I did make the point that this house is about 100 feet from a very nice establishment called 'The Northside" and we should go tell them to change the name then.

Yes, I am aware he does not hate the N side, his kids live here, he lives here and while Bridgeport is getting a little nicer it is still the center of racism in Chicago and bad taste in housing design as well! Comiskular reminds me of a house they fucked up when they built it and have spent the last 20 years and $100 million of "OUR" money fixing it up and it now looks like they are the DYI crew from Home Depot! The bad HD Tile from China, flimsy doors from Jeld Wen, shitty Anderson vinyl windows. Just so Frank doesn't get mad, pissing in a Home Depot toilet is still nicer than peeing in a trough. There are a lot of those Italian mansions in Bridgeport built lot line to lot line. Just look for the wrought iron and the lions guarding the front door.

In college I got to hang out a few nights in the area with some of my new southside friends.The ease of which them and their parents spoke in racist terms was pretty shocking to me. Even confronting 2 black men walking down the street with "consider this a warning". 312Player, showing some true colors? Even Larry agrees with me on this one, mentions it a ton in the past.
