This team sucked because of poor management, poor front office and poor talent. Who on this team is really talented? I see a bunch of "guys" with no help coming.

My .02

Paulie
Alexei
Dayan
Beckham

That's about it. The pitching staff is bereft of talent IMO..

Phil Humber- 1st round (3rd overall)
Gavin Floyd- 1st round (4th overall)
John Danks- 1st round (9th overall)
Chris Sale- 1st round (13th overall)
Matt Thornton- 1st round (22nd overall)
Sergio Santos- 1st round (27th overall)
Jesse Crain- 2nd round
Zach Stewart- 3rd round
Addison Reed- 3rd round

And here I thought someone saying Ozzie needs to get away from lunacy would be the dumbest thing I read today.

You are the dumbest FANBOY on this board.
Everything just rosy with the White Sox.
Future is Bright, right?
Sale is the only #1 on the list selected by the brilliant White Sox.
WHITE SOX RIGHT OR WRONG....WHAT A FAN YOU ARE!!!!

Phil Humber- 1st round (3rd overall) [8-8] Average, has lost his last 4 starts
Gavin Floyd- 1st round (4th overall) [12-10] Yeah, 2 over .500; will end up at .500
John Danks- 1st round (9th overall) [6-10] Meh; will end up below .500
Chris Sale- 1st round (13th overall) [Potential bright spot]
Matt Thornton- 1st round (22nd overall) [Demoted from closer and 0-4 and Meh]
Sergio Santos- 1st round (27th overall) [Potential to be great]
Jesse Crain- 2nd round [8-3 winning, but not a starter]
Zach Stewart- 3rd round [1-3 and Meh]
Addison Reed- 3rd round [?]

And here I thought someone saying Ozzie needs to get away from lunacy would be the dumbest thing I read today.

Besides Chris Sale, Jesse Crain and Santos, this pitching staff is Average at best. Buerhle has been a surprise, but will be gone soon. Again this pitching staff is a bunch of "guys". Oh I forgot, they have the sack o' shit Jake Peavy. This starting pitching staff will be bad next year too.

How has he been a surprise? He's exactly the same as he has been throughout his career. And I wouldn't be sure he's gone. They might bring him back if they're looking to move Floyd and/or Danks. I would guess he'll play cheaper in Chicago than he might elsewhere.

Dunn might be the worst signing not only in Chicago , but of all time anywhere

Let go of the Beckham hope, he has had two full seasons and has shown he cannot hit at that level on a consistent basis.

It would appear that all of the posters here except for this idiot FANBOY Keyser have actually watched this BRUTAL team the past two seasons. Maybe FANBOY Keyser can explain to us how Ozzie Guillen is responsible for a roster that can't score a run unless it homers?
The last 2 seasons should piss a real White Sox Fan off to no end...and they have.
All the empty seats at The Cell are wrong and this Keyser is right!!!
The Sox are 'still in it', right Keyser????
HUGE Series in Minnesota!!!!!!
  :drunken:

Hopefully Minnesota puts the dagger in today and the Sox can officially go to the "pay no mind" list. They will probably be on this same list come next June too.

Sox are winning and Hawk is chirping...Keyser over the top with glee watching the "contending" White Sox battle for the Playoffs.

That was a good win. Nice to see Humber bounce back from getting hit in the face with that line drive. It was also good to see Ozzie actually doing some managing by pulling Santos in the 9th. It's two days too late but at least he's finally learning.

It only took him three months to figure it out:

To me, one of the great things about Santos is how easily you can see when he doesn't have it. That's a huge advantage. Watch two pitches and come get him. Sorry, today isn't your day. That slider will probably bite next time. He just isn't the kind of guy who can get the job done when his stuff isn't right. Usually it's devastating, but when it's not, a child can see it.

He got an early start to his off season program of being fat and lazy. 6 for 41 the last 30 days, all singles.

Ozzie is responsible for all the men left on base by guys like The Oaf, Rios and Beckham.
Guillen loves station to station baseball.
Guillen claimed Rios on waivers, signed Dunn and traded for Peavy on the Disabled List.

Really, since when is Ozzie the GM?? Ozzie can't sign players, that's Kenny's fault for those signings.
