Do you realize that would have been the only good thing to happen all season in Chicago baseball.

Kenny Williams might quit after the season!!!!!
Of course, Weird Jerry would then make Bill Melton, D.J., Stone or Farmer the GM.

If you still care about the White Sox, here is tonight's lineup for the third of 4 with the injury-ravaged T*W*I*N*S at Target Field:

1 Juan Pierre LF (L)
10 Alexei Ramirez SS (R)
12 Anthony John Pierzynski DH (L)
51 Alex Rios CF (R)
32 Adam Dunn 1B (L)
17 Tyler Flowers C (R)
30 Alejandro De Aza RF (L)
22 Brent Morel 3B (R)
15 Gordon Beckham 2B (R)

These are the 9 Ozzie's starting vs. Twins' rookie righty Liam Hendricks. He'll be making his ML debut this eve vs. Jake Peavy, who might be making his final start for the Southsiders.

Why are you posting whether they're Republicans or Libertarians after their names? Isn't one of the nice things about baseball that there are no partisan politics involved? I don't care which party these guys are a member of.

Good thing there's no members of the Socialists Sect Party in the lineup.

'The organization that does things the right way' made it's best move in over a year today by FINALLY calling up Joe Benson (Joliet Catholic) from double A. He's playing centerfield and hitting leadoff tonight.

Good first AB, Joe. Now you just have to get rid of that #63 and find a hemlet that will stay on your head.

I don't know how it's possible but the Swamp Donkey is actually more useless at first base than he is at the plate.

Damn Joe smoked that one. Keep hitting em like that and not only will he get his first knock but he may be a fixture in the Twins outfield.

Author:  Keyser Soze [ Tue Sep 06, 2011 9:09 pm ]
Post subject:  Re: Sox @ Twins

That wasn't a good AB. Just a little too anxious. Doesn't look like he'll get another shot at that first knock tonight.

Rough first game for Joe but that was a tough draw going up against the Jakemiester. He'll get a lot of opportunities to get that first knock and then some this month for the last place Twins. Good lord that team is a mess.

They should have called him up to start last week Wednesday.

Come on, Bob! Just ten more straight wins and some Tiger losses and they're right back in the thick of things.

Twins even do a better job of making something out of a bad season.
