No. I heard there's going to be another Batman movie. I'm sure Ozzie will see it, since they modeled the Joker's personality in the last one to his.

That's actually true. Ozzie kept the Sox somewhat relevant.

I'll let you clarify your statement before I rip you. Who are referencing as the group to whom they are relevant?

Thanks for the memories Ozzie. The time had come - best of luck. Please take your sons with you.

It's true Grid. It's a similar situation to Ditka.

Good, Dolphin: I'm referring to the National Media (ESPN) more than anything.

And I was referring to that troll job Cowley did to start the season where he bragged that this was the beginning of a bold new era of White Sox hegemony, finally getting revenge for channel 9 and Harry Caray, and now he says it's already back to irrelevance because they fired his sugar daddy/their manager.

Do you have any proof of white sox relevance to them? I may be a little out of the loop since losing my balls and cable before the beginning of the year but I cannot recall any ESPN focus on the Sox.

The Sox get attention if they win with or without Ozzie.

Because of Ozzie Guillen's personality the team received more attention from the press than if they had a low key manager instead. Ozzie is entertaining and controversial. Thats a combination of traits that the press had to have loved. It will be difficult to say what will have brought the team back to irrelevance-Ozzies departure or the slide the team has gone on and is likely to continue on. Based on the unlikely chances the team might overcome the bad contracts of guys like Peavy, Dunn, Rios and the impending departure of Buehrle, I would say it's likely the slide continues. The team got rid of the wrong guy. But for Ozzie better times are ahead as he takes over a team with some good young talent and leaves behind a broken down (Peavy) underachieving (Rios, Dunn and Beckham) and often frustrating group of players. He has to be thrilled to be a Marlin very soon.

that is a long time local writer writing for the local version of ESPN...now if you link to a podcast of Harry Tienewitz talking about the Sox you will really get my attention

Watch how "relevant" the Marlins are with Ozzie.

He will be fighting with their star shortstop by the end of spring training.
