Quote: Come Tuesday morning, the silence on the South Side could be more deafening than golden. Until then, Ozzie Guillen was going to spend his final days on the White Sox managerial post much like he came in to it – saying whatever he wants, wherever he wants, whenever he wants. According to multiple sources, the Sox and Florida Marlins are in the final stages of completing a deal that would send the never-boring Guillen to South Beach, ending his eight-year stay with the club he grew up in as a player and helped lead to a World Series in 2005. That end could come as soon as the conclusion of Monday night’s game with Toronto, one source indicated. http://www.suntimes.com/7895136-417/ozz ... night.html |

Why would they do this with 2 days left? They better not get my guy Logan. He is destined to be a Cub. |

So Dan and Terry can stop licking his asshole now? I get I bit tired of the: "No, I think he's a good manager, one of the better in baseball...." and then go on stay that you hate a ton of the stuff he does during games because it works and makes them lose. |

As a casual observer to White Sox baseball, I am pretty surprised at how quickly the fans turned on him. Pretty sure he deserved a lot of the blame, but surprised nonetheless. He will be a very good NL manager. |

I don't know if fans really turned on him. Some did. He's had a pretty poor year, but so has almost everyone else on that club. I just think it was time for a fresh start. I still think he's a pretty good manager overall, but for both sides it is time for a change of scenery. |

If true it looks like I have something else to celebrate tomorrow night. I still don't know why the Marlins would trade for a manager going into a lame duck season but I'm certainly not going to argue. |

I turned on him and very quickly...his schtick grew old when they weren't winning games. Keyser...the report is he's getting a 4 year deal for double what he's making now. |

I just go by the official voice of the Chicago White Sox fan: Aggravated Sox Fan Bob wrote: What a shocker....a member of Jerry Reinsdouche's White Sox organization AGAIN rips the customers.
Now we Sox fans are just awful for booing Adam The Oaf Dunn!!!! FUCK OFF, OZZIE.......You and Kenny can disappear. FUCK YOUR LITTLE CLUB FOR JUVENILE DELINQUENTS RUN BY JOCK SNIFFING REINSDOUCHE. |

I would also like to clarify that my previous post had nothing to do with being a drama queen high on drugs in need of therapy. |

Trading a manager is still weird. What are they getting back? Jack Mckeon? |

Ok but why give up a player? Just call the Sox bluff and wait for him to be fired. Again I'm not complaining it just seems like a bad move on the Marlins part. |

Crystal Lake Hoffy wrote: He will be a very good NL manager. He certainly fits the NL better than the AL, but a lot of the stuff he does is silly in any league. I will say this though, it appears to me that the game is moving toward meeting him and his style, what with run production in steep decline. He's quite possibly ahead of the curve. |

Yeah, but how much of that steep decline in run production across baseball is directly attributable to him continuing to play Rios, Dunn and Beckham? |

I assume Cooper is coming with him? The guy has a great track record with pitcher rehab projects. |
