"Kenny" had a hard time not ripping Big Frank's desire for the job so you know it won't be him.

Actually Robin Ventura would make sense as a hitting coach

Harold Baines doesn't want to do anything. Being a hitting coach would require him to talk. He doesn't even want to do that. It paines him to answer a waitress when she asks if he wants cream or sugar. Harold wants to be the 1st base coach unitl he dies. He probably gets about 200k for this job that requires him to basically do nothing.

It will be Frank as I said before this thread started. There are three things Big Frank loves: Money, hitting and white women. Being the hitting coach will allow him to get all three.

There are about 50 things on a baseball field Karko could teach you.

Hitting is not one of them.

Like how to talk on the bullpen phone, use a spit cup, or how to take your coffee

If they were smrt, they'd go with The Big Hurt. If they're going to trust Robin w/ running the team, they might as well get Batman to teach Git'r Dunn how to hit a ball.

Terrible idea....his approach to hitting (technique) is not one they want to teach their young players to employ. Frank has unique assets including tremendous strength that allowed him to "get away" with things (hitting off the front foot primarily) that other players should not attempt. He is a great example of what NOT TO DO. Yet for him, it worked extremely well.

I'm stunned that I am agreeing here but I do. Frank was a natural talent. He doesn't strike me as a guy that had to work very hard at it but was excellent at it. I'm not sure how he was able to succeed would work well with hitters that need a l;ot of help.
