about detroit having a better record, being the best team in baseball...bottom line is we own these guys when we play them, and we will own them in a series. anyone watching the games between the two this year knows who the better team is.

We may own the Tigers but the Tigers seem to own everybody else. I'd still rather have their record right now.

I'd rather have there reccord obviously. But the cool thing about if we win the wild card is we won't face them until the ALCS because they don't let teams in the same division face eachother in the ALDS. I said its gonna come down to us and them. Yes I like our chances in a 7 game series. I still haven't given up on winning the division however. But either way we get in is fine with me.

Sound logic. You may have noticed that the Cubs similarly have a winning record against St. Louis, but I wouldn't start printing those tickets for a Wrigley Field World Series just yet. Personally, I'll start looking at a ALCS matchup against Detroit after both teams clinch a spot there.

If they win the division the Sox will get home field advantage and, more importantly, get to play the West in the opening round. I like the Sox chances much better against Oakland/LAA/Tex than the Yankees.

Good (point)... Dolphin. I'd rather play the A's over the Yankees in the first round. But I'd feel confident against anybody if we got in.
