I just have too much time on my hands....It does piss me off that Ricketts brings in a BATTALION of Baseball Men and Reinsdorf, in Cub Like Fashion, merrily rolls along with his "Loyal" band of stooge White Sox "Family". White Sox fans have been taken for granted for 30 years with this jackoff Chairman. Obvious that the ticket purchaser is last on the list of priorities. Maybe Kenny Williams can get his dream job now with the Oakland Raiders and Reinsdouche can announce Ed Farmer as the new General Manager at SoxFarce. |

McFail might have been a good baseball guy, but he sold out when he became the Cubs President. He got shares of the Tribune company and was just an executive of a divsion of the Trib Corp. His job was never to win, it was to make money. So as long as the $20 - $40 mill made it back to the Trib and WGN Tv/Radio could advertise for free, McFail did his job. Winning was a secondary concern as it is with the McCaskeys. I think they want to win, but not at the cost of losing money. Last years spending spree was great, but notice this year, they spent nothing and are $20 mill under the cap? |
