I trust Cotts will bounce back...unfortunately it may not be this year.

On the other hand, thank KW and Coop for picking up Thornton. He is looking great these days.

Does Cotts have any minor league options available? If so, they might look to send him down but the more liekly scenario is that he is this year's Luis Vizcaino - can't pitch him much except in mop up and hope that he comes around.

Cotts is a pretty talented pitcher so I don't want to get rid of him, but he needs this off-season to fix whatever is wrong with his delivery/mechanics/mental issues....

As for this season, he's in the bullpen, so he's still going to be needed, but let's throw him where he currently is - right about the 6th inning of games, and hope he can somehow get going.

i agree, cotts is terrible. might as well just bring in a righty to pitch to these lefties cotts throws too...he doesnt get them out anyway.

the twins seem to be doing just fine with only 1 southpaw in thier pen..

Not to mention the LAA's last year. They mananged to get the ALCS with zero lefties in the 'pen.

I hope Ozzie starts using MacDougal in the Cott's role. His pitches have enough movement.
