Hawk and Stone, don't even try to converse. That is on a level of bad that is ALL my guy Jerry.
How could they? Think about it like this. They've taken one of the world's biggest know-it-alls and put him in the booth with a real life Yosemite Sam who only shuts up when the Sox are getting killed.
As for Farmer and DJ, I'm not sure if they hate each other, but it's certainly an odd broadcast. Yeah, the stuff about Farmer's hitting and DJ's pitching has gotten old, but there's something I enjoy about listening to those guys. Maybe it's because it's so weird. It's almost like two guys having two different conversations at the same time. It's quite surreal on occasion.
Ever seen the show Disaster Date on MTV or Boiling point? You watch for the uncomfort and hope for the blow up between the 2!
I just think they don't like each other (maybe not hate) and thus no other conversations other than "Did you ever".
The thing about it is that Boyer needs to go to Jerry and say he wants all new guys. Figuring it could not get any worse, he asks Jerry for anyone else. If I worked for Jerry I would go make the call. He either respects you for having the balls to come to him and ask for something you know he will not like and you have a job for life, or you get canned. "ALL IN"
Harold and Big Frank! lol While I joke, you never know.
