Not gonna happen. As great a year as Frank has had this season, I don't think we're seeing a career rejuvenation here. No one expected him to be this good and I don't expect him to be this good next year. |

Frank's on borrowed time; I'm glad he's having the season he's having because he has and always will be my favorite player....but I think this season's going to be the exception and not the rule with him. Crumbsie |

I agree the He is on borrowed time. The foot problems could recur at any time. I don't see a big difference between Thome and Frank. Besides, depending on how he continues this month and into the playoffs, his price is going to skyrocket, barring injury. |

nobody really wanted to see frank go, but he simply would have balked at the idea of kenny offereing him a 500K contract with incentives like the A's did. it was a business move that had to be made. im much more pissed off at mackowiak and the sox pen than i am at big frank this weekend. |
