Even if it is, he's not going to be fired like some common failed executive. He'll just get kicked upward to Vice President Of Looking Out The Window so that Jerry Reinsdorf can say he leads the majors in minorities employed as Vice Presidents Of Looking Out Windows. Just like how you couldn't just fire Ozzie Guillen, you had to "trade" him to the Marlins by making a commonplace low-end-prospect-for-future-considerations trade and ceasing to employ Ozzie parallel to that trade. We're talking about adopted sons here, after all.

My guy, who's actually a woman, tells me that any talk of Kenny being fired is ludicrous. And she'd know. Kenny takes candy from her desk.

Well next time a coach calls in to a radio show and tells the host he is parked on an overpass and had maybe 5 or 6 beers, I think we can call him sauced. Guessing it was really 7 or 12.

Now this would be some great tape to play at the 20 year. Would never happen though.

Yeah, BIGFAN is a real White Sox insider, fellas.

He knows everything about them.....he knows that organization inside and out. He is deep inside Jerrys loins.

Curious Hair is right. It wont happen this year though. Jerry has to give him 2 Ozzie free years doesnt he?

Barring a last place finish or some other debacle he won't be fired after the year. If his job was in jeopardy that badly they would have just moved on when they easily could have over the summer. He'll get two years just like Robin will.

while I agree what Brick makes baseball sense, sometimes these moves are pressured by other owners.

Many, if not most, of those other owners really liked Ozzie and last years $$$$ loss leaves a really bad taste in their wallets.

By "other owners," do you mean the White Sox' minority partners, or other owners around the league who wanted to hire Ozzie?

The other owners, as in who are asked for a 'Cash Call' when the Sox need CASH. Yes, they are the limited group. However, when it leaks into the thoughts of board members, I think thats when Jerry starts agreeing.

This is how it went down for Krause. He was there as long as the cash flowed. When the Cash stopped flowing the pressure was on.

It's tough to ask investors for money, especially 2 years in a row. Yes, I am assuming this year might result in a loss beyond cash reserves.

JR is the minorty partner. He only has like a 5% interest in the team. However, he is the managing partner.

KW is gone after this year and not gone upstairs but don't let the door hit you in the ass gone. Many partners don't like him personally or professionally.

Seems like a year long wager might be in order

Really? I thought it was much more than that. Like at least 20%. I know there are six, eight silent partners, though. And Eddie Einhorn, if he's not senile yet.

Chus, I can only guess North is not allowing his voice, name, etc and is monitoring it closely in hopes of a lawsuit.

Kinda weak that WSCR not even a great commercial to sell the tickets.

HAWAIIIIIIAN!

Caneing!Whhhhaaahhhhhhh

Miss a little , miss a lot.

This is a fine example of the Scores lack of promotions

They should have been playing best of clips from the last 20 years at least once an hour to get people interested in this thing. I'd love to hear that old coot Jack Kent Cooke calling North "that 55 miler" in their interview.
