I could not be happier that your team missed the playoffs. I could not be happier that Crackpot Ozzie managed this team into the ground. I could not be happier that your team is just another one-and-done. Why? Because I remember 2003. I remember how you laughed and cheered when the Cubs lost to the Marlins. I remember how you told the newspaper reporters that you'd rather see the Cubs lose in the playoffs than see the white sox win. I remember how your south side taverns gave away free beer anytime the Marlins scored. I remember how you bought and still wear Marlins jerseys to Cubs-sox games. So now it is Cub fans turn to laugh at you, to heap on all the scorn and ridicule that you gave us... |

Slamma, they won the World Series. I'm a Cubs fan, please don't bring us down with bad calls. Thanks, MMB |

I think I represent a solid selection of Sox fans: I don't hate the Cubs. I just don't give two shits about them. I want the Sox to beat them when we play them, but that's true of every other team in the league. Cubs fans can laugh all they want at the Sox demise this year: their team is a joke that barely avoided losing 100 games this year. That's why they suck, not because they happen to be the other team in town and naturally I've decided to hate them. |

Slamma represents the Cubbie assclowns. May I ask you a question sir: What have that miserable ballclub up north won in the last 98 years? This year was disappointing no doubt. Sox fans certainly took it up the ass. But I don't think Cubs fans are in the position to kick dust in anyone's eyes. The Sox fans you mention in reference to 2003 don't represent all Sox fans. In 2003, I was disappointed for the Cubs too. I wasn't on the bandwagon, but I wanted to see a winner in this town too. Make sure you filter out the bullshit generalizations before you post here because the Sox/Cubs rivalry is the furthest from my mind right now. Root for your own team and don't worry about the ballclub on 35th. The Sox misfortunes haven't made the Cubs any better so fuck you very much. |

All you do is lower yourself to the level of those you decry as being bad fans. I've been a Cubs fan all my life and will continue to be one. What other fans of other teams do is irrelevant. Be a fan of your team. Being an anti-fan is...childish. |

I've been a sox fan all my life, and I've gotten more texts and emails from cubs "fans" in the past week than i did all of last october. if the white sox missing the playoffs makes your cub season a success, thats very very sad in my book. |

I don't hate the players on the Cubs. A lot of them play hard and seem like solid citizens. But I hate the corporate ownership and I hate asshole Cub fans like the guy that started this post. The Sox season ended 2 days ago......the Cubs season was over in May. It is really sad......I can't even make fun of the Cubs or their fans anymore....they are pathetic....... |

I am both a Sox and Cub fan. I grew up in Indiana so I'm allowed. I couldn't believe the outpouring of hate in 2003 from many (not all) Sox fans. A rivalry is one thing, but what I saw and heard that year was unbelievable! To pretend it didn't happen is just ignorant. Surely some Cubs fans were rooting fiercly against the Sox last year, but it certainly didn't seem to be in the same number, manner or inensity as the reverse in 2003. Besides, who cares about baseball right now? BEARS! |

Slamma Jamma reminds me of poor people who really love it when liberal politicians begin screaming about raising tax rates for "the rich." Meanwhile, they fail to realize that sticking it to "the rich" will not improve their lives one bit. They will still be miserable ne'er-do-wells, furiously scratching away at instant lottery tickets purchased with my tax dollars. |

Wow stoneroses.................. Who are you? Milton Friedman? Are you an expert on economics and poverty?? Stick to sports and keep your Grand Wizard outfit in the trunk of your car for your next meeting.........but not here please.............. |

Ungotz: I am somewhat confused as to your Ku Klux Klan reference. I don't recall mentioning a specific race in my post. Therefore, it appears that you assumed that I was referring only to black people. Why did you reach such an assumption? Because poverty was being discussed? Interesting. |

What wasn't interesting was your weak attempt to make some sort of social commentary..........stick to sports...................... save your degrading and hateful comments for your next militia meeting...... you must be a real tough guy to be picking on people who live in poverty..... yeah...they're living large on your hard earned tax dollars...... |

Stoneroses86 I Adore you! but it sounds like you cut a little too close to the bone for Ungotz. What happened? The Bones weren't Shakin? The Wheel wasn't Fortunate? The Money Train wasn't rolling? |

It's not Cubs hate with me. I just don't care about them. You know whats funny I probrally know more Cubs history then alot of Cubs fans just because there in my city and I'm following them because they're here. I Just don't care if they win or lose. I've often informed Cubs fans of trivia information or Cubs facts because they don't know there team as well as I do. |

You are a loser. As a Sox fan, I am glad you hate the Sox. I relish that those loser Cub fans who hate the Sox have to live with the fact that the Sox won the World Series while the Cub f'd up its chances in 2003. I also relish watching the clip of Bartman go for the foul ball in 2003 on You Tube over and over again! Keep blaming Bartman and a goat for your team's own incompetence and go watch your precious HBO documentary about what a loser you are! Dork! |

Sorry douchebag. I do not allow loser Cub fans who know zilch about baseball like you into my house while I watch You Tube videos of your mother in her corn cob dress going down on Raffi Palmeiro and Davey Martinez. |
