Sox split the short series. Pujols remains bad. Dunn remains awesome.

Gavin Floyd vs. Jerome Williams tonight.
Chris Sale vs. CJ Wilson tomorrow.

They better crush Jerome Williams.

Talk about a gimme game!

Yikes.

A thigh-high fastball may have cured Pujols.

4-2 Angels.

A centerfielder playing normal depth makes that catch on Trumbo's hit but De Aza playing on top of the rock pile has no shot.

Keyser;

DeAza is hitting. The entire infield sans 1B is not and neither is LF. Everybody on the bench is under .200. DeAza HAS to play everyday.

The De Aza critiques are hilarious!

He doesn't HAVE to play everyday and he certainly doesn't HAVE to play center everyday. Lillibridge will be just fine given a couple more starts a week.

No.

I saw that movie last year.

De Aza is fine.

He did win a gold glove in triple A last year and he's a top prospect. Get his ass up here.

Why not have Rios in CF and De Aza in RF. Either way, it doesn't matter. This season is over.

I think Rios was uncomfortable in center. And why do you think the season is over, dolphin? You don't think the Indians are going to win the Central, do you?

I think Rios was uncomfortable in center.

This, also, De Aza doesn't have the arm to play right.

Yeah, but I'm not sure Rios really does anymore either. They probably should have Viciedo in right and Rios in left but that's too much moving around for these guys. It's an average defensive outfield. DeAza takes some bad routes but he's fast enough to make up for that most of the time. Rios is good in right when he's paying attention. Viciedo is a hitter- or at least he's supposed to be.

Yes he does, because the Sox need his bat in the lineup EVERYDAY. Maybe if your boy Beckham could muster even a .250avg they could put somebody else out there.

DeAza is hitting and getting on base at a .360 clip. He plays everyday, period.

Rios in right reminds me of Dye at the end (with better legs). I still think the way the OF is set up right now is the best possible option. De Aza is fast enough to cover larger center fields (like Detroit). He takes bad routes, yes, but I think he covers better than Rios could. Viciedo has the best arm of the 3, yes, but he really isn't very good in the field. Left is ideal for him.

As far as the idea of playing Lillibridge more, Keyzer obviously didn't watch any White Sox baseball the last couple of years...Lillibridge is a nice bench guy, but a terrible every day player.

Keyser is usually pretty good with Sox baseball, but when he falls in love with somebody (Beckham) or dislikes somebody (DeAza) there isn't much he will say bad about the guy he loves or good about the guy he hates.

Hello (knock knock) is this thing on?? I'm NOT saying they should bench De Aza (and I don't hate him I just think he's a bad centerfielder) but they should sit him down a little more and play him in left when they give Viciedo a day off. The Sox aren't going to out-slug teams so they have to play run prevention and to do that they need to put the best defensive team on the field and that is not De Aza in center.

1. Alejandro De Aza (L) CF
2. Gordon Beckham (R) 2B
3. Adam Dunn (L) 1B
4. Paul Konerko (R) DH
5. Alex Rios (R) RF
6. A.J. Pierzynski (L) C
7. Alexei Ramirez (R) SS
8. Dayan Viciedo (R) LF
9. Brent Morel (R) 3B

Actually, I've got an idea, and it's not necessarily the greatest idea in the world. Alejandro De Aza is fine where he is right now in CF and has been a more than capable lead-off hitter for these White Sox.

RV says that Adam Dunn, who's playing first base with Paul Konerko DH-ing today, will be in LF for all 3 games of the White Sox/Cubs Northside series this weekend. That probably means Dayan Viciedo sits, unless RV wants to put Viciedo at third base and have Brent Morel sit. He's not the greatest 3B in the world, but Viciedo gives the Sox what Morel isn't right now. Just a thought...

That is not your thought. You heard that about 2 hours ago on the Danny Mac show. Its not a bad idea, but don't present this as your own, SHARK. This is part of the reason why people have been getting on you more and more.

I wasn't tuned in to Mac & Spiegs when it came up, if it came up at all.

I'm sorry SHARK, that is too much of a coincidence for me to believe. A known P1 guy like yourself, who is very much dialed into the AM radio and sports landscape of this town, you post a thought a mere 2 hours after its said on the air?

Sorry. I don't buy it dude.

Can't get those at work, SHARK. And what would that prove anyway?

We might agree to disagree. I just find it very hard to believe you came up with that Viceido at 3rd idea all on your own. Mac & Speigs had a guest on talking about it, so maybe it was in one of the papers or something too. I dunno...like I said, just hard for me to believe is all.

Frank, other than calling up journeymen Dan Johnson or Dallas McPherson from Triple "A" Charlotte, what do the White Sox do with Brent Morel then? Eduardo Escobar isn't the answer either, and I thought 3B was a power position. Morel looks absolutely, positively lost right now at the plate!

I agree.

That was not the point of my posts here. My point is that I believe you took something you heard on the Danny Mac show and presented it as your own. Something you have done before with other things you have heard/read.
