The White Sox are home tonight for the first of 6 at U.S. Cellular Field. The first place Indians visit The Cell over the weekend, but first the absolute worst team in Bud Selig's Major League Baseball visit the Southside for a three-game series. The Twins bring a 14-27 record to The Cell, and will have righty P.J. Walters (1-1, 3.65 ERA) facing Gavin Floyd (3-4, 3.44 ERA) this eve. Minnesota will then have lefty Scott Diamond (3-0, 1.40 ERA) facing Sox lefty Chris Sale (4-2, 2.91 ERA) tomorrow night. Last but not least, U.N. Decided goes for the Twins in the wrap up of the series vs. the White Sox Philip Humber (1-2, 5.31 ERA) Thursday night. Needless to say, good seats are available for all 3 games of this series. Former Twin Orlando Hudson, just released by the Padres, is expected to make his Sox debut in this series while 3B Brent Morel and his nagging back problem head to the 15-day DL. The move should be made official in the next few hours. |

U.N. Decided is a junkballer, and the Sox struggle against pitchers like that. |

The Twins have a payroll of $94 million. The White Sox have a payroll of $97 million. I guess the small market low budget excuse doesn't work here. |

U.N. Decided has had cups of coffee with a few teams around baseball. A lot of his starts usually get scratched at the last minute. Not sure why that happens. |

Well, I'll tell you who it won't be. Jason Marquis was "designated for assignment" after the Brewers beat him like a cheap suit over the weekend at Miller Park. |

That's also what Lastings Milledge (remember him, Sox fans?) wore briefly with the White Sox a year ago. Jayson Nix, now #17 with the Yankees, and former Sox infielders Juan Uribe, currently on the DL with the Dodgers, and Vance Law in the '80s also sported #5. |

Ray Ray is my favorite Sox infielder of all time. I'm not being sarcastic either. Iguchi is second, followed by Cora. Here are my rankings, based on nothing: 1. Ray Durham 2. Tadahito Iguchi 3. Joey Cora 4. Joe Crede 5. Robin Ventura 6. Norberto Martin 7. Alexei Ramirez 8. Royce Clayton 9. Ozzie Guillen 10. Craig Grebek Edit: I'm purposely not including Frank Thomas or Paul Konerko. Wouldn't be fair. |

BREAKING NEWS!! I have just been informed that the Twins' Thursday Starter, U.N. Decided, has been scratched. Taking his place will be the tall, lanky left hander, T.B. Determined. |

Orlando Hudson may be in the fold, but he's not in tonight's White Sox lineup, which looks like this, complete with batting average next to it... 30 Alejandro De Aza CF (L) .288 15 Gordon Beckham 2B (R) .207 32 Adam Dunn DH (L) .247 14 Paul Konerko 1B (R) .367 12 Anthony John Pierzynski C (L) .301 51 Alex Rios RF (R) .272 24 Dayan Viciedo LF (R) .248 10 Alexei Ramirez SS (R) .207 38 Eduardo Escobar 3B (R) .146 The Twins start righty P.J. Walters while Gavin Floyd does the chucking for the Sox in the first of 3. |
