Hellava pitching matchup tonite! And a decent one on Sunday actually as well. Sox should take at least 2 of 3. They are probably due to cool off a bit, but this I would love to see them go at least 6-3 on this homestand. Mariners are one of the worst leams in the A.L. and the Sox should take 2 of 3, if not sweep. Hernandez should give the mariners a chance, but the Seattle offense gives their pitchers little run support. If Peavy wins tonight, it may be a sweep. |

I just have a hunch the bats will quiet down. The Sale start will probably be one of those games where he pitches great and only gives up about 2 runs, but the Sox either score 1 or get shut out. |

I am going to the game tommorow. Sox continue the sweep. Sox have knocked King Felix around a few times. They faced two good pitchers in Florida and did fine. Floyd start is the most iffy, but people forget that he can be very good and tends to heat up around this time. |
