most likely a RH college starting pitcher who throws an "easy 90-92 with sinking action." The lack of strikeouts at the college level should not be a concern. "he'll be a bulldog!"

I have almost no care about the MLB draft. I would bet half the guys from the first round actually make the MLB club and less than half of those guys end up being meaningfull players.

The Sox will pick a bunch of players they can sign for under slot money. Just as they do every year. Consistently spend less than pretty much any other team in baseball on the draft and international prospects.

I think they'll take a left handed college starting pitcher. Andrew Heaney out of Oklahoma St. There's an outside chance they go with uber-athletic high school outfielder Courtney Hawkins but he'll probably be gone.

I absolutely love Mike Zunino. He's going to be a real good player for a very long time. I like Kevin Gausman a lot too. Max Fried has everything you look for in a top of the rotation starter and should move pretty quickly for a high school kid.

For the Sox any one of the 3 colege pitchers (Heaney, Wacha, Stratton) work. I'd really like to see them take HS SS Gavin Cecchini but I don't see that happening.

The more I read about Zunino the more I like him. I would be thrilled if the Cubs got him.
