So I'm walking down 37th after the game and some ten year old kid in a Cubs t-shirt blocks the sidewalk in front of me and says, "25 cents for Sox fans to pass, Cubs fans are free." I said, "Hey kid, this is Bridgeport!" Terry's Peeps better get this shit under control. But worse yet was when I got to Kathy's Dugout. She had some Cub fan friends over and she actually allowed them to play "Go, Cubs, Go" on a boombox. Oh, the humanity!

As a Cub fan,I'd rather be where your team is than where my team is.

I will never accept losing under any circumstance.
Rebuilding is not an excuse, but there may be a slight improvement in the lineup when Rizzo comes up. This Valebueno guy is also worth a longer look at 3rd. He is a stop-gap guy but has more life in his bat than Stewart.

I saw one true Cub fan tonight. An idiot in Cub gear attempted to high-five this guy simply because he also had on Cubs stuff, but being a real Cub fan he would have none of it. He said, "How am I gonna high five when we're twenty games under .500?"

That scene is played over and over at Wrigley during Cubs Sox series. Guys in Sox gear looking longlingly for others guys in Sox gear to high five .

Sometimes it is hard to make out the word SOX when written in marker on a wife beater shirt. Hey hey!

Those are true fans. The American working class. The Cub fan is wearing a Prior jersey that cost $200 ten years ago and a pair of black market Adidas Shackles.
