The White Sox lineup is for tonight in Minnesota. These are the guys who'll deal with Liam Hendricks tonight:

30 Alejandro De Aza CF (L)
20 Kevin Youkilis 3B (R)
32 Adam Dunn DH (L)
14 Paul Konerko 1B (R)
51 Alex Rios RF (R)
12 A.J. Pierzynski C (L)
24 Dayan Viciedo LF (R)
10 Alexei Ramirez SS (R)
15 Gordon Beckham 2B (R)

Gavin Floyd does the chucking at Target Field in the second of three. Hopefully, Gavin can follow up his quality start vs. the Cubs with another one this eve.

Rios is playing some really good ball. Gavin is pitching great but a couple more runs wouldn't hurt.

Glad to see the return of a hot streak for Floyd.

They should try to peddle Rios now but no one will eat that contract.

Yes. I don't think the league has any confidence that he will play at this level the next two years, as they shouldn't.

Mercy, these guys are swinging magic wands up there.

Can't hit a guy on an 0-2 pitch though

When you are talking Rios, you are damn right.

And no one will eat that contract.

Was the line on Floyd really -115 in that game?

Author:  good dolphin [ Wed Jun 27, 2012 7:15 am ]
Post subject:  Re: Sox @ Twins

I got it at -125.

Floyd is streaky and had a good start last time out which should bode well for his near future. If I recognize this, more observant guys who base their livliehood on it surely know it as well.

Post subject:  Re: Sox @ Twins

Prior to yesterday, Floyd was 0-8 with an ERA of like 8.5 in his career starts against the Twins.

Post subject:  Re: Sox @ Twins

I had Sox -123

No Beckham, Konerko, or Viciedo today. Sale on the bump for getaway day, and all signs point to under.

under 8.5

Here's what Chus is referring...BOLD type indicates changes.

30 Alejandro De Aza CF (L)
38 Eduardo Escobar 3B (S)
20 Kevin Youkilis 1B (R)

32 Adam Dunn DH (L)
51 Alex Rios RF (R)
12 A.J. Pierzynski C (L)
10 Alexei Ramirez SS (R)
7 Jordan Danks LF (L)
5 Orlando Hudson 2B (S)

Chris Sale does the chucking for the White Sox, while Nick Blackburn goes for the Twins.

under 8.5
That is a huge number with Sale starting and the Sox offense being as anemic as its been. Blackburn has an ERA over 7 but still. This has a 2-0, 3-1 type score written all over it.
