1- Sale Cy Young favorite? 2- Dunn Cant argue with the production 3- Peavy Solid innings hog with little run support and healthy. 4- AJ Career high offensive numbers. Solid defense. Most importantly his handling of the young pitchers. 5- Konerko Rios and De Aza have been good but PK is still the guy you want up with the game on the line. |

Alex Rios seems a lot more comfortable in RF defensively this season, and he's had quite a few huge hits this season. I'd lean towards #51 by the slightest of margins over A.J. Pierzynski as this team's MVP. |

Yeah I think it's Kenny too, RFDC. |

For comparative purposes with position players, it's best just to look at offensive numbers. |

Dunn carried them in April when they rose to first plac, but I'd say it's been Sale. He's been lights out. |

If this MVP is for the most valuable player to the Sox this year, then I would lean towards Konerko but he is rapidly losing his hold on the award. If this is MVP is for the most valuable player given the other options, then I'm leaning towards AJ, but Youk could run away with it if he continues. If this is MVP for the media's version of MVP, then probably Konerko again, with Sale as second. If this is MVP for Most Vaginas Pounded, then I am guessing it would be De Aza... he is a ladies man. |

eric bedard I think you can make an argument for De Aza. If he didn't succeed they had no one to fill his role. |

It's Sale. I hope they don't shut him down or significantly limit him. |

Rizzo. His projected legend set the bar of excellence at the beginning of the season and the sox did not want to be shown up. |
