Post subject:  Do you want Dempster?
And if so, what do you think is fair at this point? For whatever reason, Demp to ATL is dead, seems the only trade he will approve is to LA and you know LA has cut back on it's offer.

I would assume the only other shot is the Sox as he could stay in Chicago.

J Mitchell? I mean he is AAA now...so he must be good.

Why isn't Cinci an option? They have a great chance to win the division, he played and lived there before and he has played for Dusty.

I agree Dempster is a fake. I dont think the guy is funny, I think he gets a tight giggy in big games,,,but he doesnt want to leave unless it is LA. So options are limited

Or Hanley listened to me when I said it to him 2 years ago at Vines!

I can remember 3 big games in Dempster career here. All 3 he did amazingly bad and the fake stuff is just my personal meetings with him.

Yes, walking 7 in a playoff game is an issue! Thats not just bad luck!

Hanley really call him a fake? While I could see Hanley calling him that off the air, dont see it on the air?

Do you think he knows he sucks in pressure situations and big games and thus would rather stay under the radar on a shitty team to ensure a decent contract vs imploding in the playoffs and losing future money?

Dempster doesn't want every team though, probably just 1 unless he's persuaded by another team. At this point, I don't see how the Cubs get much of anything in return if the Dodgers are the only team he'd agree to go to.
