He got torched in Sept last year: http://www.baseball-reference.com/playe ... r=2011&t=p In the offseason he signs a big fat deal (which he had turned down previous). Comes out of the gates essentially sucking again this year and goes down injured. You do the math. |

No idea - I assume they do a physical before they sign up for a multi-year extension, but it obviously didn't show any red flags. |
