...all of which are named Billy Beane.

The A's are in town. If this was 12 year old Boyd, I'd be excited because the Juice Monsters were coming to town. Adult Boyd is not so excited to see Choakland come to town, though.

There are injuries. Brandon McCarthy pitches tonight. Other stuff will happen.

I'm not looking up the pitching matchups or numbers, because, well, someone else can do the leg work.

I'll tell you what, Stone Pony. The two live-est bats in this league are Tank... and Cespedes.

Boy, I tell ya, the best I have ever seen, and that is in parts of 6 decades in this game, the best I have ever seen at going to his backhand side and then making a throw to 1st on the run was Sal Bando.

OAK: Best record in AL since July 1st. They're hotter than the weather lately.

I was referring to the NATIONAL Weather, TP. I hope the Tigers like the heat & humidity of Arlington, TX this weekend vs. the Rangers. Have fun with that!

Well I was actually going to watch this game because another thread pointed out to me that Cespedes was apparently in the league, but perhaps not since they can't get out of the first fucking inning without idiot Hawk pissing and moaning about Billy Beane .... incidentally, what did I miss that was so fucking great that Hawk did when he was the Sox GM?

Hey pal if you dont think extending Fisk' career a few more years by putting him in left field thereby enabling him to bang more quiff outside his marriage while still being thought of as such a principled dude doesnt mean anything I have no hope for your understanding of the game. Good Night.

(this one I got on my own)

Actually, I might give him credit for putting some of their games on ONTV for a season fee .... if he had the idea that is.

Isn't ironic that so many guys who start for the A's were drafted by the Sox when Beane is so superior to Kenny?

That was just yesterday. He's had Gonzales, Sweeney, and others as well. How can every guy be good only when he plays for Beane?
