The Mariners are here. Ichiro just left. King Felix doesn't pitch for the M's this weekend.

Peavy tonight
Quintana tomorrow
Gavin Fraud pitches on Sunday...please note that Kevin Millwood is apparently still on a Major League roster and will pitch for Seattle.

Sox get swept out of 1st place.

Temporarily.

They are really catching the Mariners at the wrong time as they are riding an 8 game winning streak.

Its the best time to face them, no way they win any more in a row. Well unless the Seamen wear Royals uniforms.

Tonights game is the one that worries me a bit. Vargas is really pitching well. They are going to have to play a tight game to win. They should knock the other two buckets around.

The M's can pitch for sure. Their offense sucks. If the Sox score 4+ runs they should win all 3 games, but Gavin will probably give up 5. I'm sick of that guy. Rongey will probably tell everybody how he has great stuff, and dolphin will say how he can rattle off 6 starts in a row while dominating hitters.

Fuck him. He's a #4 at best.

Gavin Fraud is a #5 at best and would do most good in the bullpen. Bring Santiago in as a #5 for all I care, I'm done with Mr. Deer in the Headlights.

Keyser, can you explain what kind of buckets the other M's pitchers are? :D

The Mariners are starting a right-hander named Blake Beaven tomorrow night. To my knowledge, the White Sox have never faced him before, and usually, that's a bad omen.

Boers should record that, just in case he's not there, and I think that's the case next week.

I'm pretty sure they have. I thought they knocked him around early in the season.

Well, the White Sox took 5 of the first 6 over Seattle earlier in the season. You'd think this is a gimme this weekend. As the Royals taught the Sox last weekend, maybe not...

The lineup is in for the first of 3 vs. Seattle. Here's how the White Sox will deal with the M's Jason Vargas:

32 Adam Dunn DH (L) .205
14 Paul Konerko 1B (R) .315
51 Alex Rios RF (R) .301
12 Anthony John Pierzynski C (L) .296
24 Dayan Viciedo LF (R) .252
10 Alexei Ramirez SS (R) .261
15 Gordon Beckham 2B (R) .230
Starting Pitcher: 44 Jake Peavy (RHP; 9-9, 3.11 ERA)

He's been twitchy all year but there's no reason he should have had to come in.

Phil motherfucking piece of hippo dung Humber has one job. Don't fuck up in garbage time. He can't even do that right.

seemed like it, as much/more of a catch than this was:

http://youtu.be/N83jLhwHME4

tho if Wise tagged up, even if they called it a catch, it'd only be the 2nd out and Wise had plenty of time to amble home with both fielders on the turf and the baseball nowhere nearby. Seattle should've thrown the ball to 2nd, touched the base and asked for a ruling--or did they? Hawk was saying something about somebody being safe.

Yeah, he should score easily after the drop. Although, Hawk was pretty peeved at his base running on Youk's fly out right before that.
