Hell of a job ny the bullpen and Santiago. Now how about scoring a few more runs and putting this game away.

Im gonna go out on a limb and say the Sox still are going to need a 3rd baseman next year. I love Youk but he looks like he's about 50 years old playing the game.

It's not that at all, but the White Sox have some big financial decisions in the offseason. 3B Kevin Youkilis, P Jake Peavy & C A.J. Pierzynski are 3 of them. The lack of actual fans in the stands might force Uncle Jerry & GM Ken Williams' hand.

There are only two ways Youk is back.....1) The White Sox win the WS. 2) Youk takes a paycut.

Konerko stranded 5 runners in the early innings, and the offense as a whole has had a few opportunities to get a good lead, and haven't been able to get a big hit (through 6 innings).

I will be shocked if Thornton gets out of this with the game tied. I think that is best case scenario here.

Well, there is no doubt that Kevin Youkilis has been an upgrade over Brent Morel, Orlando Hudson & Eduardo Escobar (now with the Twins) at third base. Unfortunately, money talks... By the way, Escobar has been called up by Minnesota's Triple "A" farm team today. He'll be in uniform tonight for the Twins for the first time since being part of the Francisco Liriano trade.

Why is Flowers catching so much. Is AJ hurt? It seems to me that whenever Flowers catches the games go slower and they waste too many pitches when they're ahead in the count. STOP FUCKING NIBBLING! If they crush you, they do. But don't walk the whole goddamn world.

I was responding to the likelihood that the White Sox might still be in the market for a third baseman next year, especially considering how much $$$$ Kevin is supposed to earn next year.
