My congratulations to the White Sox on a solid season. Yes it ended badly but I admire how they overachieved and proved the experts wrong.

My hats off also to Kenny Williams who continues to go for it year in and year out, although he is careless occassionally in giving away talent such as 20 games winner Gio Gonzalez (whom he traded twice).

The road ahead is challenging as they face losing Peavy and AJ plus Konerko is another year older, but I do respect them for going for it in 2012 and making it a race.

AJ isn't leaving Chicago, he just wont be playing for the Sox next season. :shock:

They made the most of a bad AL central. Detroit is gonna get ballbatted in the postseason.

Bruce Chen is Detroit's MVP. Without him the Sox would have taken the central.
